Khol Ceremony in Mount Kawi

Place of event: Mount Kawi cemetery, Wonosari village, Wonosari district, Malang regency

It is held every 12th Sura (Javanese month) / Muharram (Islam Month) to commemorate the death of 'Mbah Gunung Kawi'. It also aims to express thanksgiving where the participants of the ceremony pray together, wishing to be kept out of trouble and to receive fortitude to face every problem.
